The steering wheel doesn't look to have one, or like it was made to fit one. The passenger dash doesn't look like there is one either.
I suppose since it is a concept car then maybe they would not incorporate the safety features yet. It does not look like the air bag would fit on the current steering wheel design. It would most likely osbtruct the view of the gauges. I wonder how they would compensate for the space of the air bag? Redesign the gauges or what? By looking at the second pic it looks like they would have to rearrange or redo eveything unless, of course, "retro" is too good for such safety features. :jest:

Show car designers don't have to worry about safety or government regulations. It's pretty safe to say that the production car's interior would look nothing like what's pictured.

I wouldnt worry about it to much, like LTSpeed said it is sure to change. But dont give up all hope, have you seen the new mustang steering wheel? It is tiny compared to almost everything out there and if f..d can do it I dont see why gm would to hard of a time coming up with some thing similar.

It is a concept car. It is going to be way dressed down because there is no way they could build it like that and still sell it for a profit.

You won't even reconize the real car, if they build it.
