Automotive News, Media & Press - 2007 Camaro??

Okay gus Im a bit confused here. When the Camaro concept was revealed I read that it would be put in production in 2008 as a 2009 model. Now some people told me it will be out for 2007??? Whats this??? :confused:

The talk is an '09 out in '08. Lets hope they bump it up. I will be looking at the Mopars and Fords when they come out.

It was designed using a pre-existing platform, and GM has recently demonstrated that they can turn a concept into a production vehicle in very little time. Many people are speculating it may be released as early as late 2007/early 2008. I think it will likely be early 2008, possibly with a small run of collector 40th editions in late 2007.

Thats completely possible, there isnt really much to the camaro except setting up the production line. It is almost completely pre-existing parts.

Apparently there was an article saying this....of course this is from some guys at our local f-body club (some are not too bright, but, hey are veeery passionate). They even said they read it some place else. That's why I asked about it.
