I think the Challenger was best in show IMO. I would take the Challenger exactly how it looks now. But the Camaro would have to change a few things.

sorry, but that would be retarded IMO. there has never been a S/C on a camaro, and I hope there never will. I would much rather have a 6.0 and a 6.2L with higher compression and more aggressive cam. maybe 375 and 425 or 400 and 450 hp options.

Why would u wish for a "detuned ls7" makin 475hp? Forget that I want an ls7 that makes at least what it makes now at 505 in the vette b/c by that time the vette will probably be at 550 or 575 by then..................

because gm doesnt like having cars as powerful as theyre flagship car. so rate the bitch at 450-475. jus use a different manifold sytem and tb setup to take away that 25 hp.

will i think thay should put the ls7 in the ss make it at 500hp and make eather what ever people want 6speed manul or 6speed auto with navigation . becouse i think its time that the camaro really steps up becouse of where that stoped the camaro for so many years

if theres 2 V8s then you might be right....6.0 and a 6.2. 3.9 will likely be the V6. However, the concept showcased the LS2. Concepts usualy have the premuim choice options, thus leading to the possibility that the other V8 will be less of a performer. Unless they consider a 6.2 to still be an LS2

I think the ZO6 will be way up at least 550-575hp by then, and the reg. vette will be 475ish. If that is the case then a 450hp camaro should be the option at least. If it can not compete with the GT500/challenge then whats the point? GM has to step it up on the higher model camaro. Looks great, but the power has to be there.

They should offer a Super charged V6, like they do down under, and then make a V8. I mean give the V6 some pep at least!

ok, for one thing i dont want it to have navigation or shit like that. Premium options like that mean premium weight and thats exactly what hurt the 4th gen, make it an option or something or dont offer it at all imo. Also why does everyone think the corvette and all are just going to keep going up in power? i think its already really high and it can only go so much farther, im thinking the current set up will stay for a little while with just a few tweaks

I agree, but a new Camaro SS might have more power than the Cadillac XLR-V which has 443 hp from a 4.4 liter supercharged DOHC Northstar V-8.

I wouldnt count on an LS7 as an option..LS2 probly be the top of the line, then maybe the engine in the new V8 gran prix as the entry level..just my .02
