Big two things I heard were that GM would look to sell 100,000 units and expect a quick V6 as one of the offerings.

Scott told everyone that the car might be built, and that it might be built in 2008. Might have 4-5 engine choices including a 300hp V6. Might see two v8's, one that make a lot more power than the base v8.

What Scott doesn't get is that passing on anecdotal comments to 30 folks, and then telling them not to tell everyone else just pisses everyone else off.

Scott, We have 300,000 unique visitors every month. My guess is that you guys could do a better job of getting enthusiasts to spread the word. Once you guys put any car out for bids on seats and other stuff anyway I'll hear what the car is gong to be and post it here anyway. :)

You do not tell a room full of ppl something and then not expect it to get out. The FBFr knows that this stuff will get out. Pro Stock John is simply doing what is expected.

Sounds like the earliest we might see something is the fall of 2007, as a 2008 model. I also heard the roofline might not be final, but the interior compartment is lower like a vette so there is already a lot of seating room up front.
