well here is the story i have pt76 gts turbo sitting next to me and i was think if i strap that on i will need to build the motor anyways....so i was think...whats the biggest lsX motor i can fit in there, i hear people turn the ls2 block into a 406 or somthing....I was also wondering if people can make a big block fit in there nice or if thats a huge pain in the rear.

im not to sure of the name of the company that make it but its like a 500inch lsx it has sleves and deck plates. but if it were me id just buy a 6.0 iron and build a 408.
a new iron block is only 600 bucks

thats a sweet block... but i was thinkin more like hte 6L iron block like you stated...i would need to buy the block but how much from my ls1 motor could transfer over to the block (like valve train) and i could be totaly wrong here but someone said you could modify the stock crank to work in a 6l to get a 408. or do i need to compleatly but a whole new rotating assembly

We build them, depending on the block you want to use you can go up to 428 c.i. with a sleeve kit and a aluminum LS1 block. If you'd like to go over some options give me a call.512-257-0222 ask for Harold.

You could fit a 632ci BBC it will fit, but you will have to get a different tranny, rear end, modify the engine bay etc.

I read in the most recent GMHTP that World Products has a 454cid LSX based engine block.
