Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the factory keyless entry? I am installing an add on remote start, and I need to find a + or - pulse when pushing the lock button on the key fob. I thought I could just use one of the door lock wires, but it doesn't seem to work right.
Anyone?

The door lock wires are your only option. The keyless entry system is contained in the BCM and there is no separate external signal wire that you can tap into. If you do the progressive door lock mod then you will have a "second channel" available from the key fob to use. Unfortunately, it will be on the unlock (rather than the lock) button so it might not be too useful for a remote start.

Thanks for the help. Do you have any info on the progressive door lock mod? The search doesn't turn up anything.

Progressive Doorlock Bypass
For those of you who dont know...progressive door locks is when you hit the unlock button on the remote once to unlock the driver's door and then hit it again to unlock the passenger's door. These instructions show how to bypass it so that both doors unlock on the first press. The second press of the button will then be an extra channel giving you the ability to control other options such as remote start, window roll down, turn on radio, whatever you can think of that needs a pulse to activate.
1. Look under the glove box. You will see a black panel that covers everything above it. There are two clips right at the base of the glovebox that hold the front side of the panel up. Remove these clips so that the panel hangs down giving you access to the wires above it.
2. Look for a green plug. There will be five wires in it: orange/black stripe, red/black stripe, gray/black stripe, tan, and gray.
3. Unplug the harness. The female side is the bigger side and is light green. The male side is the smaller side and is dark green. You will be working with the female side.
4. Cut the gray/black stripe wire on the female side.
5. You should now have a short length of wire going back into the female plug and the other side goes back into the wiring of the car. Splice the side going back into the plug with the tan wire.
6. The wire that goes back into your car is now your extra channel on your alarm. It is a 12V pulse.
Some cars just have a green plug going directly into the BCM. The wires are the same colors. Cut the gray/black wire and splice the end that goes into the car to the tan wire. The short portion of gray/black wire that goes into the BCM is your second channel.
Most remote starts and window modules need just a pulse to activate. This will give it to you now from the factory keyless entry. Installation of these components would be done just as if there were an aftermarket alarm except that you would hook the trigger wire to the grey/black wire that is left over.
The second channel will pulse when you press the unlock button on the key fob twice. This is handy for accessory use. It will also pulse if you press the unlock button on either door. This is not so handy for accessory use. There are various ways you can avoid this (e.g. a cutout relay for when the ignition is on) but it is something you should be aware of when connecting an accessory.

Thanks for the info. I ended up splicing into the gray door lock wire. It works great, but after I remote start, the keyless entry is disabled, I guess by the bcm, and I can't turn the remote start off or unlock the doors. How do I get around this? Any ideas?

just as a heads up, i followed these instructions yesterday and succesfully blew two 'courtesty' 20A fuses before determining the instructions are exactly wrong (at least for my 98 car, and i can't see how it would be right for another year)
the cut black/grey wire GOING TO THE CAR should splice into the tan wire. the extra channel is the left over wire GOING TO THE PLUG
also this 'green plug' is just one plug that connects to a big black module in the most uppper right section under the panel. it is not a separate male/female plug pair.

You need a relay to get it to work properly. I will see if I can get a diagram to post next time I stop by my job.

if you are talking to me, i have it hooked up as i detailed above without a relay and it works fine.
