Fueling & Injection - Racetronix/Hotwire Fuel Pressure fluctuates with nitrous

I have a properly and well installed new Racetronix fuel pump and the hot wire kit. Everything installed to exact spec. When I drive the car I have excellent fuel pressure 63-4 psi. My elctronics Autometer sender is at the test port on the fuel rail...when I nail my nitrous my fuel pressure fluctuates as much as 20 psi. How can I test the fuel pump to eliminate it as the problem?

This info is very specific in the link in my sig (http://sig.macon-moore-performance.com) (http://sig.macon-moore-performance.com) but generally the numbers 430 RWHP NA at 585 RWHP w/ 150 wet. Keep in mind 4L60E and SS3600 Stall with 4.11 rear. Racetronix (Lucas) 42 lb injectors.

reason i asked is i was wondering if you were maxing out the injectors and it was causing this drop, either that or maxing out the pump? im not sure the limits onthe pump though

Without a FM FPR installed pressure fluctuations in the range of 52-62PSI are not uncommon. This is a shortcoming of the factory system.

FM FPR I don't want to assume anything please decipher this acronym.

I'll take a stab at it: Front Mounted Fuel Pressure Regulator.

I'll bet you are right there Matt...it has been suggested to me by a couple of folks here (possibly you included) that a replumbed system including a fuel pressure regulator mounted up front and return would be a solution. Again thank you Matt. I think I have a solution that I will try. I will get back with the results.
