Most of my speakers are blown and i want to replace them. I just want some cheap speakers to bring back both the decent sound and bass the stock monsson system had. i want to spend the money on power mods :) but i am just tired of these blown speakers. please help.

If you're tired of replacing them because they blow, then buy a decent pair and do it once. I like Alpine type R's.

You can save money and still get good sound going with the Alpine Type-S series. I'd suggest looking on the net for the SPS-170A's or the newer SPS-17C2's. They can be had for $60 - $70 a pair. They are also easy to mod to wire in like stock door speakers (see http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=397043 for details).
They should work in the sail panels also. Just remember that the Monsoon amplifier has built in low-pass filters, so you are only going to get bass from these speakers.
Any decent 4" 2-way speaker will improve the sound from the rear hatch. The Camaro's have only a pair of 4" midrange back there. Whereas the Firebirds have a pair of tweeters also.
In my SS, I have SPS-170A's in the doors, SPS-100A's in the rear hatch, and Pioneer TS-M7PRS midbasses in the sail panels. Total cost for my speakers was $330 shipped. Replacing the Pioneers with a second set of 6.5" Alpines should bring your cost down to under $180 total.

I would invest in some high pass filters (bass blockers street slang) and a set of infinitys as a good cheap/effective solution
