Not sure were to put this. Last night someone broke into my car and stole all my stereo stuff. Here is the strange part. They got in through my T-top. The t-top is fine and there are no signs of pry marks or anything. The only thing is my lock doesnt work on it anymore. Anyone heard of this?

I've heard of it but I was also under the impression that was only possible with old T-tops. Not the kind on our cars.
I'm sorry to hear that happened to you Thieves suck big time.

Yeah i thought it was pretty crazy my self. Does anyone know if you can put in a new lock on the top. Im really paranoid about that thing coming off. Yes i hate thief's im up to about 5 grand worth of stuff being stolen in 2 years. Its the main reason i don't put a system in my car. In my old car i had about 3 grand worth of stereo stuff stolen. Just went out and bought another Ipod. This one will never stay in my car.

thats scary!!!! I wonder if they were able to use screw drivers to move the two metal pins in on each side and just pop the t-top up.....
Check to see if you see anything on your molding and also where the pins go to secure the ttop.

Holy Crap man, I'd check into moving into a new neighborhood. That sucks, sorry to hear about things like that happening. Is your insurance going to cover any of it?

Well this is at different areas. My parents live in a very nice area and my old full size blazer got broken into 2 times. Insurance its not worth it. I would claim home owners but it wasn't in front of my house so i dont think they would cover it. the way i look at it is i pay enough i dont need something to raise my rates.

Well, I can see where you're coming from there. Instead of crappy neighbors like I was thinking you seem to just have bad luck. I've had friends that had some stuff disappear, and you know it's the punk kids down the road swiping so they can get some weed, but never can prove it. That's kind of the situation I was picturing for your stuff missing, but guess not.
