Stereo & Electronics - Tweeter Pods, Where to get?

I am thinking of installing a stereo in the next month or so and was wondering where I could get some tweeter pods that attach to the inside of the door next to the side mirror. I have seen them before but I have forgotton where I found them. Anyone know?

I got mine from Kevin (SShevy) awhile ago. He was a Mod on LS1.com. They are really nice and easy to install. I can get some pics, if you want.

He was making them from fiberglass. You might try fbodyaudio.com forums and his screen name is Kevin. I believe they were ~$90 shipped and most tweeters fit the pods.

Just out of curiousity, why are the people with the T/A monsoon system mounting their new component tweeters in places other than where the stockers where? Seems it would be a simple matter to just put them where the originals were?

Mine sound a lot better mounted higher up. The stock tweeter is point at your leg and sounds to low. The sound stage is moved up a little higher with the new pods.

Agreed, thats why I am looking for the tweeter pods.

Your leg blocks out a ton of treble where it is factory. If you have a passenger...forget it. Imaging is much better up higher.

How in the world do those pods attach? Mine have a bracket that came off but wouldn't have been good for crap anyways...
