I am trying to reinstall my steering wheel controls after pulling them out to try to fix them. How the *&$% are you supposed to put these things back in? I mean reconnecting the plug in the back of the switch itself. The wires have no slack whatsoever. The plug part doesnt come out past the steering wheel. How am I supposed to plug it into the back of the switch if the switch has to be in the steering wheel for it to make contact??? :guns: :guns: :offtopic: :bash: :aug2: :bigun2: :laser: :mad2: :soapbox:
I have tried the instructions at this link here
http://doghouse.2y.net/gtp/steeringcontrols/ , but apparently this guy has the Long Wires in the Steering Wheel Special Edition Firebird.
Also, where is the best place to get these replacement switches?

Take the airbag off and push more wire in there to the plug.

Get a pick and hold the connector while you plug in.
