Change oil/filter, tranny/diff fluid if it's due, new fuel filter, new air filter or clean it if it's reusable, change plugs (NGK TR55's gapped @.055"), give it a good wash/wax. Your stock wires are fine unless their damaged or you just want to replace them. MSD and Taylor wires are popular choices.

how can you tell if your wires are damaged...and getting new wires will it make a difference over stock??

You test them with an OHM meter I believe.

And it did for me, made my car run a lot smoother...

My car is about ready for a 100K tune up. What all do I need to do maintenance wise?
