Stereo & Electronics - Mono Amp/DVC Sub?

Im not sure on wiring up a sub with dual voice coils to a mono amp. I want a kicker L7 10" and they come in dual 4ohm coils and dual 2ohm coil models. Which would I need for a mono 2ohm amp and how would I wire them to the amp correctly??? :confused:

WIth a single DVC, you want the dual 4 ohm version of the L7. What you will do is wire the coils in parallel so the amp will see a 2 ohm load.
