I tried a search but i couldn't find what i was looking for. Im about to start a project of dropping a 355 sbc into a 94 V6 camaro. Do they make conversion motor mounts for this swap and where can you get them? Also can I use the stock 5 speed? I would really like to keep the car manual.

I would think that it would be easier than dropping in an LS1. Doesn't most of the LT1 stuff line up with SBC? Why not drop in an LT1?

From this (http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=490284) thread.
Here is a little list that I've put together for myself and you can search and find many more threads with useful information to help with your swap as well.

You can find swap crossmemembers and trans mounts on BMRs website. Get your wallet out and make sure its thick :)

You can make a stock K-member to work for a SBC/BBC. Just looks for links to my post under my screen name. Your job should be a little bit easier than my BBC install but most of the process will be the same.

Many people dont know this, but you can use 5 out of the 6 bolts from lt1 motor mounts. Im going to try and figure something out for the 6th this summer so that i can have a back up if this tubular k member cracks, as many people claim theirs have. The 6th bolt is behind the driver side rubber mount on the bracket. On the lt1, they had a seperate bolt hole and the mount is extended backword to accomodate for the hole lost underneath the rubber mount. All the passenger side bolts work fine.
