Ok quick question, will heads from a 427 bbc, fit on a 427 tall block truck engine??? I should say are they the same?
Also any good suggestions on how to push some more HP out of a truck motor?

Yes, the heads will fit, it is the intake that is different from a tall deck to a short deck block.

Yes they will fit.
More cubes - the tall deck allows for a much longer stroke.

Don't forget to get a distributor with a slop collar or one that is made for a tall deck.
