Just wanted to see how my engine will sit in the engine bay with new LT-1 manifold but I don't have a trans supporting the rear these days (got rid of 700R). Anyway, was just about to drop the engine in the C4 bay and I notice how far up to the front the motor mounts are. Will there be a support issue? Breaking? I've seen shots of Corvettes on lifts where the trans was gone and there were pictures taken of the clutch assembly connected to the engine. Any input?
