Well i decided to get a new HU, as well as replace all my stock speakers to get some good sound :) After doing some searches on the forums i put together a setup. the list goes as follows

Alpine CDA-9857 HU
Alpine SPS-17C2 for the doors
Pioneer TS-M7PRS sal panel
Alpine SPS-10C2 for the rear hatch

here are my questions

1. According to some research on the forums, when going with an aftermarket HU with some new speakers its best to just run new wires...is this correct? i'd rather do that than have to do the whole biwiring deal.

2. How would i give sound to the hatch speakers if i run wires? can i just bridge them off the sail panels?

3. And last but not least, since im avoiding the monsoon system wouldnt i lose some of my bass in the sails? because of the stock amp and all pumping the sail panels and filtering only the bass through. i was ok with the bass loudness stock but i wanted it maybe just a bit louder and cleaner, and it seems like the Pioneers are a good choice. sorry i am a sound newbie lol, this is all new to me.

thanks in advance, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated :chug: cheers

have you ever listened to anyones car that had like a sub box and at least a single sub for the bass? you may want to consider that route while you have it all apart. i am an old guy and when i replaced my system i went with a stealth box and a sub. i had no idea that a little controlled bass would make bands like ac/dc, aerosmith, and boston sound so good. just an idea.
