Stereo & Electronics - what kind of sound is sent to backseat 6.5 speakers

do these only receive mids from the amp? so if i hooked up regular 6.5 inch speakers it would only play mids like a sub and be a waste?

Lows only. The sail panel speakers are gm's idea of subs..

A sub doesn't play mids.. A sub plays lows.

If you run full range speakers, it would be a waste.


PS. Your cbr should be faster than the camaro... no?

I never took my bike out to the track. Supposedly when new, it rans low 11's. It's a 95 gpz1100. Much like the camaro is the poor man's vette, this is the poor man's zx11 (or was back in the day). These days the bike is pushing upwards of 70K miles, been through many sets of brakes and tires and other repairs, but still runs relatively well. Probably keep it another 2-3 yrs (just put over a gran of parts into it), then part it out and get a zx14 or st1300, depending on what impulse hits me at the time.
