i dont think it is worth using the factory amp with an aftermarket cd player especially if you replace the speakers. but i figure if you didnt bypass it with wiring, it is kinda sorta still working because the speakers with an impedance other than 4 arent playing any different are they?

i dont know if the amp runs the two in the back seat or all 4, but as far as i can tell they all seem the same in loudness. Im just not getting enough bass out of the back two. sould i take it to a car audio place and see what they say(trying to save some money im "f"ing broke lol)

If they are all the same volume then the amp is working - there would be nothing coming out of the sail panel speakers (beside the back seat) if the amp wasn't working.

Ok, i understand, but why does the bose sterio system sound better in my 94 camaro? Should i have more bass comming from the back two? How can i check the amp to see if it has power to it too? Thanks

Well, the Bose system had a true sub in the back unlike the Monsoon's two mid-bass speakers in the sail panels that GM calls "subs". Also, the Bose system used special high-impedance, low-level output head units while the Monsoon uses an ordinary Delco radio for the head unit (speaker-level output with the usual factory distortion level).
You can check for power on both of the orange wires (next to each other in E11 and E12 of the blue connector) at the amp. If there's no power then check your RADIO ACCY fuse in the fuse panel at the side of the dash.
