So here is the deal, I like the turn signal/cruise/brights lever/mechanism in my 04 Silverado and would like to figure out how to put that in my Z28. Is the stuff interchangeable?

Do you happen to have any pictures of the connectors on the column? It maybe possible to cut and splice but I am thinking some of the accesories maybe have different numbers of wires.

Please post anything you know like the number of wires in the wiper switch, ect.

no pictures....I'm talking about swapping the "guts" of the turn signal/wiper/etc. switch so that I would have the "flash to pass" option....

never thought of swapping out that stuff, i hate the lever for blinker/brights/wipers on my t/a, it feels like its going to break everytime i use it, if its possible, i would love to switch to a more "user friendly" handle

Yes, I'm interested in any new turn signal lever or steering column setups. That loud snap on our sticks is waiting to break. In my old '94 TA, it broke to the point where I had to put my thumb into where the stick was and push down or up to light the turn signals.

Yep it was the same lever that was in my 92 S-10 I remeber being surprised when I saw that stupid thing in my brand new Z28.

I have a 1999 Camaro Column out of a car laying in the garage. I will take any pics as soon as I have time.

Are people still interested in pictures? I will probably take them anyways but won't post them unless someone wants to check it out.

I have also managed to come up with a late model Yukon column.

Hey guys. I took some basic pictures. I haven't taken each column apart to see how each is actually mounted. I am kinda of interested in this project. I can tell you right now that it feels like the late model multifunction switch doesn't feel as it has as much play as the camaro switch. It DOES look like they have the same number of wires though! I am just worried that the mounting is going to be so different that you won't be able to do it!

More pictures to come but I have to go run some errands. Hoping to take them apart before the weekend is over.

BTW the thing I noticed is that the high beams mechanism is completely different.

The part number on that column is 260796950. Can anyone tell me what exact vehicle/year it is from.
