Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - Need help with cam and stall choice

my dad has a 1940 ford coupe with a 1970 chevy 350 in it. he wants to get a bigger cam. his cam now is a 454/454 lift and 224 ish duration i believe. he wants to step it up a bit but not too big. he doesnt need it fast he just wants to punch it and burn the hell out of the tires. also what stall speed would we need?

I like the comp cams extreme enery cams. Im running the xe274 myself, but that might be a little too big for what hes looking for. They'd be worth taking a look at.
