Anybody know of a company that sells exhaust manifolds, etc. for the BBC's for a twin turbo setup? I'm thinking about replacing the 460 in the boat and putting a TT 454ish motor in it. If all else fails, I may just put twins on the 460.

Check With Jose in the FI area. THey make some nice SBC units for less then half the price of the banks ;)

Well we decided that we can make our own flanges. Anybody have a link to where I can get tubing to make them out of?

We figure we can run some stupid boost because of the water/air intercoolers. The water at ~70 degrees should chill the air plenty, enough to run 20-25lbs of boost. We're figuring in the ballpark of 1500hp.
If things work out and there is a market for them, we'll start producing the exhaust manifolds and modified tunnel rams with internal intercoolers.

The marine manifolds you are wanting to build will need to be water cooled, are you aware of that? Also with 20-25lbs of boost you better have a stong rotating assy. and a very good engine management. It can be done...

wonder if Joses will work in a 95 camaro with a SBC...

Side note, do you have space constraints? if not there is a guy on turbomustangs.com that could do it.. I will have to find his name if interested...

The exhaust manifolds will be just like any other, with thick gauge tubing. They'll be air cooled, not water cooled like the headers I currently have in the boat. The intercooler will receive regulated water straight from the jet drive pump so it's as cool as possible. A forged rotating assembly will be used, however we'll be keeping the rpms down because the boat won't be used for much top-end runs. As of now we're going to use the Megasquirt system for fuel management. It's cheap and can control up to 16 injectors as needed.

No space constraints here. This is an identical boat to mine:

That was a budget build for the guy. Twins would have cost more

I think I have a hookup on some turbos, so that will help with the cost. How well did his run without intercooling?

95 mph on 5 psi and pump gas. At 10psi it is almost undrivable. 632hp on 93 octane on a very conservative dyno. It is a V-drive.
