Depends on a few things. What is the motor using for oil pan? carb or FI?
Should drop in, clearance issues would be with oiling system, possibly headers and hood clearance.

No problem at all, I have a 85 with a sbc 350 and no problems. Only problem is with a/c other than that you should be fine. I'm in the proscess of building a 500 hp 383. Good Luck man.
