OK, whenever my car gets wet it just decides that there is someone trying to break in and it sets the alarm off! It's annoying as hell and I am sure my neighbors don't like it too much either! :bang:

Anyone know what might be the issue?

yup.....mine goes off when the wind blows or a car drives by......turns out there is a black box in the passenger rear quarter where the spare tire is it will ajust how sensative the alarm is by turning the white knob on the side its about 3x3 inches or so you cant miss it. its double sided taped to the panel. that will fix the problem im 100% sure of it. the bad part is now you have to take that spare out and put it back in. hope that helps.

Maybe the shock sensor is going bad/getting wet? If it looks dry try turning the sensitivity down, if that doesn't work try unplugging it for a while and see if it stops.

How sensitive do you have the alarm set? You can set them to where if a bird craps on it, it will go off or set it to where it would take a hard hit to set it off. If it is an aftermarket alarm, it could be set to sensitive.
