At what local stores can you buy dynamat, or anything like that? I have speakers that will be here thursday , and dont want to have to order and wait for the dynamax. I would much rather pick it up local.

don't bother...
go to ebay.com
you can get a box of extreme for $100 buck plus shipping. No way I would spend retail for it. :bang:

how much do you need? I may be down the shore this weekend, and could bring it down to you.

You'll get it fast. Crutchfield is also excellent (fast) but expensive.
Circuit city sells regular dynamat here in Michigan. But you'll pay the same or more for regular as you would for extreme at etronics.
Be patient and order it online. That couple day wait will save you 50%.

I agree, you will find it much cheaper on E-bay. Anywhere elese is gonna charge retail, and it can be expensive.

I would need enough for 4 6.5 speakers. Two front door , and two sail panel speakers.

To me its not worth it to just mat the speaker area. You probably wont even notice a difference. It works best when you do the whole panel or area. Like do the whole door, or the whole sail panel area. Imho I think that the speaker kits are a waste. Just doing the trunk area in our cars makes a big difference with how the inside of the car sounds.
My advice would be to plan it out and try to do as much of the car as possible. There's a few guys here who have used different materials and have write ups. I did my car in Dynamat extreme, under pretty much every panel. I did under the headliner and under the plastic trim on the rear hatch as well. Just search for Dynamat or sound deadener. It should come up with lots of results since search works again.

def. go with dynamat extreme, NOT FATMAT or other immitations. Ebay is your bestbet. Circuit city would be your best bet for local reatailer for speaker kits.

on a side note, dynamat is the shit... just installed it on my doors and in the hatch - cant hear the window/door rattling and road noise decreased by a lot. :)
