Hey I want to buy a Boston Acoustics g510 for my Mtx thunderform. From the measurements I've got it should fit but I wanted to know if anyone is using it in a thunderform. None of the stores have it in stock so I would have to order it off line. I just wanted to check and see a real review, how it sounds and what amp is recomended. I have the mtx 4500 in there now with an old ppi 2360 2 channel it sounds good but I want something deeper and louder and cleaner.

So did you end up putting that G5 in there? I have the same thoughts as you,...I have the mtx box that I got for free and was hoping that I could get a G5 sub to fit right in there.
Let me know.

Best sounding is a relative term. I would recommend going to local audio shops and listen to see what sounds good to YOU. I personally like MB Quart, JL, Focal, Kicker... just depends on the application
