This one in particular, 200 watt ampliefied MTX stealth box.

I'm not much into car stereo gear, but I would like some more volume and a bigger sound out of the Monsoon. Can anyone give input on this?

Thanks

The amplified version of the MTX Thunderform CF10 is not that great. You would be better off just getting the non-amplified version and get an external amp. I had the Thunderform CF10 with a MTX 6500D amp awhile back. It was a nice addition to the monsoon system and was easy to install.

I installed one in a Ford Explorer and it was pretty weak. Fit and finish was very nice but the amp weak. The owner of that vehicle later had me install a traditional box and amp setup. They could have gotten away with just an amp but that's not what they wanted. I had the non-amplified version in my trans am with a HE2 Fosgate sub powered by a Fosgate 120.2 (bridged) that sounded way better than the MTX internal amp. If your not trying to wake up the neighborhood but be loud enough...that would be the way to go. Get the non-amped version and an amp and call it a day. I currently run 2 stealth boxes and it is VERY loud.
