Stereo & Electronics - are door panels on 2000 ss easy 2 take off???

looking 2 replace my 2 blown door speakers. how easy is it 2 remove door panels?? any help would be great. thanks

Yes. Screw for the triangle panel (PULL THIS ONE FIRST!!!), screw in the handle area, big screw under that, big screw under tha handle forward and lift the panel, and either have someone hold the panel while you remove and replace the speakers, or find a good way to dangle it.

Reverse for install. Don't forget the triangle panel in the corner by the mirror.

do you change you're own oil?

if not take the car to the dealership for speakers.

ohh and just to let you know ahead of time your only gonna use 2 of the 4 wires... .. i dont remember what ones... just try it out before you put the panel back on... and if it sounds clear thats them... if they are the wrong 2 it crackles and sounds like @ss...
