Stereo & Electronics - Check coolen light

I was wondering why this light keeps coming on. I flushed the radaitor about 2 weeks ago. So when i drive it for about like 15 20 minutes or until it gets to like 180 i believe the check coolent light comes on. But there is plenty of coolent in it there is some that even comes out of the overflow. i just don't know why it keeps doing that. I was just told to unplug the sensor if it bothers me.

You sure you got all the air out of the system? Have you checked the level in the radiator with the car cold? Sometimes the low coolant sensors go bad and people do just unplug them. You can also try taking it out and cleaning it, or replace it.

Yea my dad flushed it for me and he had done the same in his vette. He also cleaned it but it still comes on after a while. So we think its just bad cause supposivley thats common.
