guys im need some help picking an amp. I think im gonna buy a drivers side stealth box and put an alpine type S in it. Here is the link to the SWS-1022D and SWS-1042D Amps (http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/products/series.php?category=SUB) They are dual 2 and 4 ohms. Need some advice on which of the two to get and a good amp that will give it the 300 watts rms. Thanks

ne1? i was lookin at the mrp-m350 from alpine which runs at 350@2 ohms and 200@4ohms. Either of those two subs able to run at the 2ohm 350 load? i figure one has to lol

you'll actually want the 4 ohm sub and run both coils in parallel to the amp. Sorry for the mistake. Running two 4 ohms coils in parallel to the amp will produce a 2 ohm load. Sorry for the mistake.

most of the auctions for the 1022 say u can run it at 1 or 4 ohms, not 2

depending on whther you run the coils/speakers in series or parallel will produce different loads.
