Stereo & Electronics - Best way to clean a cd-player?

I am starting to get errors... I'm almost positive it's my lenses fault. Whats the best way to clean off my lense?
Just try blowing it off with some canned air? Should I actually dissassemble the unit and take some electronic cleaner to it? What's the best route here?

Seriously, go to a stereo shop or electronics store and purchase a CD lens cleaner kit. With or without cleaning solution is a matter of personal preference.
