Is the headunit or amp powering the front speakers in the doors?

the midrange speakers are powered off the monsoon system amp.

The tweeters are powered off the deck.

how do you figure the tweeters are ran off the deck when all the speaker wires in the car run to the amp?

It is my understanding that the two tweeters in the door are powered by the HU, all the rest are powered by the Monsoon amp.

Thats where i got the info.

I have not disconnected the monsoon amp to check this theory, but all the other info i have received from that site, has been correct.

You can also put a speaker tester on the leads behind the radio and "pop" the speakers verifying that they are ran off of the headunit. They are looped inside of the amp so if you unplug the amp they wont play but the amp isnt supplying the power
