Stereo & Electronics - Has anyone replaced their rear seats with speakers??

I am thinking of getting two more 15"subs and mounting the 2 15s and 1 10 instead of the rear seats and was wondering if anyone has done something similar.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, going with a pair of 15"s or 18"s, replacing the back seats. It can be done, however, mixing sizes of speakers is not a good idea. The diffrent amounts of air displaced be the different size speakers will cause "Standing waves" of sound within the car. This will sound like crap. Instead, stick with the same size speaker. Eithe 2 15"s or 18", or maybe 4 12"s or even 8 12's if you really want to get crazy.

i decided to do two tens and make a custom box ontop of the box thing in the trunk area so they bounce off the rear glass.

If you are interested, I'm selling my custom fiberglass box. It sits in the well, below the cover flap, and holds 2 JL 12"s
