Stereo & Electronics - Rmote start wont start with key???????????

Went to start my 99 Z28 the other day. Would not start with the key but will remote start then run ok when key is inserted. What the hell? Nothing has changed on the car. I tried two keys thinking maybe a resistor on the key itself was bad no luck. Guess I will check all the wires It has been so long since I put the thing in I dont remember what wire is what. Any suggestions would be great.

Ok so the ignition is fine cause it will try to start with the key when the car is allready running. I know I should not try to start it when running. (usualy runs better when you start it twice!)

Check for a relay that splices in the starter wire. My guess is that there's something up with that - it's either not connected on one side of the relay.
