Stereo & Electronics - what does this box do?

so im cleaning behind my glovebox and find this :confused: it looks like and alarm bypass which is maybe why the keyless entry control i bought doesnt work :cry: so does anyone know how they work and if removing could it cause a problem or make my keyless entry work finally http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h270/eaglepassbird/DSC00872.jpg

Or it maybe a minigun laser defense system like the one james bond will have in the future....i say...find a logo then look up the part number for whatever company made it....yes...yes...that.

it is an aftermarket alarm...or keyless entry at least...and poorly installed... if you know nothing about alarm systems have someone professionally uninstall it... most of the time it is more complicated than unhooking the brain and cutting off all of those wires..and there may be other pieces to the system mounted elsewhere in the vehicle

do u guys think if i have it remove the original keyless entry to the car might work again

ouch, that is a horrible install

it will probably not work correctly, because I am sure that he had to cut the original wires to wire up to the alarm.

just go to the bcm, and connect the cut wires
