Alright, well when I bought the car it had no radio, no amp, and blown pioneer speakers.

I've got an amp, it's a 340w jensen amp, and I got it for free so let's skip that part. I've got a pioneer 6700MP headunit, and I like it.

So now the problem, speakers/subs. I want to replace my door speakers, and sail panel speakers. In addition, I'm going to build a custom box in the hatch for two 10's and probably a set of 6.5s. I don't want to spend a lot, I'm not looking for bass as much as I am for highs. I listen to classic rock mostly, and occasionally talk radio... never rap and very very rarely any country or pop.

I need a reccomendation for a good set of 6.5s that will fit in the door of a 94 z28, and a set of speakers for the sail panels. Also, I need a reccomendation of a set of 10s.

All in all, I'm wanting to spend less than $200 for two sets of 6.5s and two 10s. Extremely low budget, I know, but I can change a bit. I'm wanting sound quality, not punch, so the 6.5s are the most important. Let the opinions being!

Thanks a lot guys!

MB Quarts will do you well. You can find good prices on them on Ebay usually. Polk and Boston are some other good brands. Internet brands to check out include: Ascendant Audio, Adire Audio, Resonant Engineering (RE Audio)

If you want a good brand on the cheap, I've found Crystal Mobilesound to be quite good. I got some 6.5" components (model CPe60) on Ebay new for like $65/ea and they sounded quite good.

For that price, nix the rear speakers and go for one sub.

I have never been disappionted in the memphis m-class 6 1/2 oversized they produce the best sound I have ever heard. U can easily find them for around a 100 even and as for the sub like stated above just go with one if money is an issue, I had some mtx 10s that got the job done in my firebird. Goodluck
