Stereo & Electronics - Alarm Broke? Urgent!

So today I noticed that everytime I press the lock button on my keyfob it acts differently. It still blips twice to let me know the alarm is set and it locks, but then it just randomly will honk loud twice. It will do it multiple times unless I keep the car unlocked.

Could it be one of the sensors?

Could be the shock sensor set too high or just going bad. I'd disconnect it and see if it stops. Try just hitting the door lock button to arm it too.

mine will sometimes do the same if the car is soaked. Usually I'll just manually lock it until she has a chance to dry out... takes a couple of days. Have you been in any heavy rain?

It just rained like hell the past couple of days. I live in TX we just got out of a huge draught.

ya mine will act up every now and then...kinda weird I live in TX too and I just plugged mine back in a couple weeks ago. It started raining and my shock sensor started acting up. I just unplug it, gunna buy a new 2-way pager alarm anyway.

Well it is still acting up. I tried setting the alarm and slapping the right rear of the car where the shock sensor usually is and it doesn't respond. I am going to disconnect it and see if it is blown.
