Stereo & Electronics - Alarm Problem!!!

Recently my alarm just started randomly going off by itself after I lock the doors with my remote. The alarm starts sounding even if I lock the doors with the doorlock switch inside the car, it'll wait about 30 seconds and then the alarm starts sounding.

The only two things I can think of is it rained pretty hard for the past few days and I heard of people having problems with their alarms after heavy rains. The other thing is I replaced my front speakers and I had my door panels off and I don't know if I might have disturbed a sensor or something in the door.

Any help or sugestions would be appreciated, thanks.

same thing happened to me man, started raining hard in South Texas and my alarm started going off. I just unplugged the shock sensor and it stopped, dont know how the shock sensor would be damaged by rain since it is tucked next to the spare tire inside the car? weird....

Bad shock sensor just unplug it for now and replace it.

Just one alarm shock sensor - in the spare tire area. You can also try turning the sensitivity down too, but most likely it's the sensor.
