Hey all, I ended up blowing out my passenger side door panel speaker over the weekend. I went on ebay, found 2 brand new 6" sail panel speakers and replaced those (since they were blown) now I have BASS again, and I also bought a set of door speakers. However, when I received them, they looked different. The magnet on the back is MUCH larger than the stock one, but the plug connector is only for 2 wires. My stock one is the larger, more square plug with 4 wires. Now I have my door panel apart with speakers that wont work. :bang: WTF speakers do I have? I think they are Trans Am door speakers because they do not have a tweeter in the center.

Are these the correct DOOR speakers for a CAMARO with the 500w MONSOON system?

Is there an aftermarket alternative for the 2ohm system that would be less than $115?

5 total screws need to be taken out. Then go underneath the door panel with your hand and feel side to side until you feel a piece of plastic. Lift up on it and it will slide out, then continue doing this all the way around the door panel.

Adding Infinty kappa 62.7i's was the best thing I did when my stock speakers were bad, sound much better and 2ohm like stock, even fit perfect in the sailpanel. You must have been sent T/A speakers.
