gm has updated 2007 and newer vehicle's powertrain warranty to 100,000 miles/5 years. bumper to bumper hasn't changed, but the entire powertrain(crankshaft dampener to rear axle shaft) is covered for the 100k/5 yrs. that includes roadside assist and courtesy transportation for powertrain faults.
