sweet... why the 7 series though? why not a hydrogen powered 3?

Probably because the 7 series is more of a cruiser/luxury car, whereas the 3 series is more in the performance segment and people will expect more from an engine in the 3 series. Notice that it is a v12 with only 260 horsepower.

yeah but with that less hp it would be easier to move a smaller car.... just my opinion but whatever those crazy germans do is their problem

It doesn't give the displacement, but exactly. They'd never put a 12 cylinder in a 3 series.

On a side note what the hell happened to GM's hydrogen program? I thought they were the first auto mfg invest heavily in its development. It looks like BMW and Honda will have cars on the market years before GM :bang:

GM recently said the car is scheduled for a 2010 release :bang:

9.5 is not impressive, but you have to start somewhere or you go nowhere. I think this is much better than the first gas engine that had like 60 litres and like 3 HP, I think it was. This is a good start, imagine these things in 10 years.
