Bout frickin time. I've only been saying they should do this since the VT Commodore debuted like a decade ago. I'm also glad someone woke up and realized that their European Opel/Vauxhall line looks better than their domestically designed Saturns and that the ideal thing to do is sell Opels/Vauxhalls stateside with Saturn badges.

In any case, expect the Commodore to replace the current FWD Grand Prix and simultaneously fill the void left by the departure of the Bonneville. In keeping in line with Pontiacs current naming scheme one could probably expect the supposed Commodore based sedan to be named G8.

Sounds like an outstanding idea. Keep the PRICE DOWN!!! The Goat would be a real hit if it cost like 27k. GM needs to remember that.

Damn i can't wait, when i saw the Grand Prix concept in Motor Trend i fell in love with it. In a few years this will probably become my daily driver if i decide to get another car.
