Stereo & Electronics - Stearing Wheel controls for aftermarket HU?

I would like to replace my Monsoon HU with and aftermarket. Is it possible to make the steering wheel controls (seek, volume, mute) work with an aftermarket HU? If so, where could i get it installed?

yes it is possible they have a mod you can buy to make this work..

Depends on hu u get. Pac-swi-x works with 80% of the hu's. Pac swi-alp works with alpines and new kenwoods with the plug in back. Pac has a website for compatabilty etc. I put a pac swi-x in 3 cars now and was simple, if you get a hu that has the plug in back, you don't even need to hide the remote eye.

And the Pac-SWI-PS is for Pioneer and Sony HU that have the remote input for steering wheel controls.
