I would skip it. I have a 3 farad cap and doesn't do anything. The best thing to use are the newer quick discharge batteries(around $80), there are different types like batcap, I've heard good things about them. They are about the same size as a motorcycle battery.

I used to just run a 1 farad cap and it helped alot. It all depends on the size of your system. I don't know for the price.... Usually you get what you pay for. I payed $120 for my RF and it worked great.
