Stereo & Electronics - Factory CD changer with aftermarket deck???

Is there anyway to make the factory 12-disk changer work with an aftermarket headunit? Im thinking about upgrading my headunit and was wondering if there was anyway to salvage the changer. Thx ahead of time.

Not anymore. There used to be adapters to connect the changer to Kenwood or Alpine head units but they've been out of production for years and probably wouldn't work with the newer models anyway.
