Stereo & Electronics - how long can the display wire of my cap be?

my #1 cap. has a digital display, cap is located in rear would like to have the display up front, will a 14' wire be to long?

I like looking at lights and meters.

Im not an expert but i'd say as long as the guage isnt smaller than what is built into the cap it would work, if its easy to remove the display you could always just test first before making it permanent. 14ft. seems long from back to front

the lighting audio caps display is not attached to the cap it has 2" wires coming from it.

Think I install the way I want to then check the reading with a multimeter.

I was thinking the experts here have allready done this.

Essentially as long as you want. Voltmeters are VERY low current.

better use at least 16 guage wire?

would'nt mind using the orginal GM speaker wire that's allready there.
