Stereo & Electronics - antenna wire

Whats involved if I want to pull the antenna wire out and re-route it so its in the back seat and not the dash?

I moved my head unit to my back seat for my carpc and I miss the radio.

I'd leave the factory cable and just run a new extension to where you want. The factory antenna has a short cable that is plugged into an extension to the dash using a standard Motorola connector so you could just unplug it and plug in your own.

thanks, i didnt know about the short cable. I think ill extend it then. curious though, where does the wire run, under door sill or something?
