Automotive News, Media & Press - Taking out a HEMI Magnum for lunch

My buddy just got a job for a local Dodge dealership doing fleet sales and they gave him a HEMI Magnum for a company car. We're going to head out to lunch a bit later, so I'm going to see what this car is all about. Unfortunately, it rained this morning, and the roads are still a bit wet, so hopefully they'll dry up by lunch-time.

Wrong forum I think but a buddy of mine has a Rumble Bee (HEMI 2 door) that has a full exhaust/CAI and all. Quick trucks for what they are.

Wasn't really sure where to post it since it really doesn't deal with anything LSx related...my fault.

But...

Comfortable ride, decent power, horrible blind spots, not all that responsive, but will brake torque like a mo-fo.

This one had basically every option ($32.8k), but it was very blah. There are a TON more cars I would spend that amount of money on before picking up one of these.

My Dad has a two door HEMI short bed Ram with CAI, catback, and programming and it is pretty quick for a truck. It actually handles pretty well too. With the shorter wheelbase and the 20's, it is fun to drive as well. It was our "plan B" for the power tour if my car wasn't up to making the trip.

I'd say in the future, post up in your regular "regional section" or hop over to www.seatstaysup.com and post up in the Garage forum.

Other than that, yeah, I wouldn't be getting one of those either. They look nice, but they also look like big, hulky tanks that handel worse than a tank to boot.

is it 4x4 ? im trying to get a sense of how fast mine is, it is a regular cab, shortbed, 2 wheel drive, 5.7 hemi, CAI and only 17" rims, but ive never seen my style rims before
