Has anyone put a LT-1 ECM and harness on a L-98 and got it to work. I am having trouble getting a modded L-98 to run and am exploring options.
just get a big stuff 3 and forget about the lt1 ecm
tons of options you will love it.

i dont know for sure but i dont think that it will work out because the lt1 is ran off of an opti-spark, but thats the only real reason i can think of

You would have to use LT1 sensors and also find something for your cam position signal. There are options out there, like a crank trigger and then a cam sensor in place of the distributor or a dual sync distributor. I'm not positive on what exactly the LT1 PCM needs, but those two options are something to look into.

There are a couple guys over on TGO running L98 TPI motors on the 00-02 LS1 PCM, which is the same PCM that powers the L31 5.7 vortec of those years. They use the vortec distributor and vortec timing cover (which has a crank sensor in it).
