Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - How much power can i get out of a 396?

i have a 68 camaro that im setting up for pro touring and road racing. it has a 396 that id like more power out of. What kind of heads and cam would work good? I need to use 93 octane still.

whats the most I can get out of it? its also a 2 bolt main.
